About Me

I have lived a life of massage.  My first experience with massage was from my mother, a believer in the physical and mental benefits of massage, who gave me a daily massage as a child.  As I grew, I started giving my parents and grandparents a massage at the young age of three years old.  However, my passion for, and understanding of healing through massage, began at the age of fifteen as I helped relieve my mother's severe back pain through reflexology.

It was then that I began learning about reflexology and its benefits in my studies under Master Reflexologist Dr. Su Chin.  My interest grew and I increased my studies to include various massage modalities at Shiatsu Massage School of California, Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing (IPSB), and Mana Lomi.  Additionally, I dissected cadavers, assisted physical therapists, volunteered for US Olympic volleyball players, cyclists, motorcyclists, and cancer patients.  To further increase my knowledge, I experienced cleansing and fasting, learned Hawaiian philosophy in the sweat lodge, and became a yoga instructor.

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2000, and incorporate various modalities such as sports, deep tissue, Swedish, Shiatsu, Lomi Lomi, Ili Ili (hot stone), forearm dance, structural integration, Reflexology, prenatal, and Craniosacral therapy.  I specialize in TMJ (Tempromandibular Joint Disorder), frozen shoulders, scoliosis, bulging disc, and herniated disc.  I have experience working at onsite events for movie shoots, television series, and magazines.  I also work as the personal massage therapist for many professional athletes and A-List entertainers.

My customized massages combine Eastern and Western techniques.  I use specific modalities to design sessions for each client's unique needs.  My goal is to soften tight muscles, decrease pain and re-pattern repetitive motions to help realign each client's body, mind, and spirit.  I show clients how to implement body work into their daily routine to decrease pain and the potential for injuries, maintain realignment and increase performance.
